I ate magazines when I was a kid. Ate them up.
Models on glossy parade. Interiors stacked on matte. Wild cities in big print.
I was obsessed.
I’m still obsessed, but those pages turned into so many things with so many people.
After design school, through my years at a boutique design firm, during my time with an advertising agency and well into my own company, those early inklings of creativity blossomed.
They grew into tall collaborations with dream brands and bright humans from England to New York City, Australia to Vancouver. This one time, Katy Perry used my popcorn carton design at her movie premiere.
And as cool as all that is, it wouldn’t matter if creativity wasn’t the greatest expression of my life as a whole. With my baby daddy and personal meme-maker, Shane, and our two sons, we take on the world with the same giddy, joyful spirit of creativity I bring to my work—this all-consuming, contagious kind that makes us so alive with each other.
To me, creativity has always been way more than anything you can see.
It’s always been something you feel.
And I’m just over the moon that I get to feel it every day.
